Dog Friendly Holidays in Scotland

When planning a break away, the whole family should be able to come on board for the trip – pooches included! Kick off your holiday planning by booking one of our dog friendly holidays at our beautiful holiday park, Silverdyke.

Staying at Silverdyke Caravan Park – arguably one of the finest luxurious dog friendly holiday locations on the East Coast of Scotland – is truly the perfect Scottish holiday location for dogs and owners alike.  Nestled overlooking the sea on the magnificent Fife Coastal Path, you can stroll for miles, lapping up the scenery and indulging with the surrounding tranquility the Fife Coast brings.

Not up to the full walk? Insider tip – exit our little gate from the holiday park, following out towards the war memorial and simply follow the steps to the bottom of the hill. Turn left to walk towards Crail and start on a local trip to the famous Caves of Caiplie. These incredible caves are guaranteed to fascinate the whole family!

After an exploration of the caves, continue on to Crail and settle down for a spot of lunch. Once fuelled up once more, take some time to explore the local businesses and shops – you may just stumble across a little gem or two!

Fife Coastal Path Summary – Anstruther to Crail:

  • This stretch of the coastal path is 3 miles long and situated far away from traffic.
  • Due to the safe situation of the path, this is an ideal walk for both pets and children.
  • The path is great for competent cyclists and mountain bikers, however a few gates will need to be crossed, and one that bikes will have to be lifted over.
  • If you’re not quite up to the walk back, then public transport by bus will return you and your family safe and sound to our holiday park.
