Ceres Highland Games

Scotland’s oldest free Highland Games, it was gifted to the people of the village by Robert the Bruce in 1314 in thanks for their support in the battle of Bannockburn. Witness feats of brute strength and speed as competitors perform the Scottish heavyweight events in traditional dress. Ladies, gentlemen and children be warned – kilts will be swinging.
